About Us

The Laundry Stop is a free mobile laundry service for those in need. At this point in time, we are primarily working with the homeless community in Nashville, Tennessee. Our story began shortly after we discovered the immense lack of laundry facilities available to those without housing. A resource that many of us have taken for granted is in fact very hard to find for our friends on the streets. The few laundry facilities provided to the homeless come with stipulations, limits, and often time distance.

The Laundry Stop has begun to bridge this gap and we are only getting started! Our mission is to provide an excellent service and loving experience in order to help restore dignity and encourage our friends to take the next step towards stability and housing. Although we have only been in operation a short time, we have learned so much and will continue to do so! Word is spreading about our service and we are beginning to establish ourselves in the homeless community.
